In order to further promote the adoption of stray dogs and cats in Taichung, increase exposure to adoption information, and expand adoption opportunities and locations, this Office has implemented the "Joy of Adoption" program since 2015. To date, this program has successfully found homes for 300 stray dogs and cats. Throughout the more-than-600 days that this program has been in existence, we have been extremely grateful to have received the cooperation of businesses in provided a comfortable environment and warm care to the dogs and cats up for adoption. We hope that this public interest "food and board train" will continue to add more cars, and send even more homeless animals to welcoming homes. This Office encourages companies and businesses with registered addresses within Taichung to submit applications to become adoption stations for stray dogs and cats. This program is of a public welfare, non-monetary nature, and 18 businesses have joined thus far. Please help us in creating a city in which furry children can live in peace and happiness. Support adoption and oppose abandonment—Yes, We Can!
