To support the Central Epidemic Command Center's Covid-prevention campaign, the Taichung Animal Shelter's Houli Park branch has made arrangements to ensure that people stuck at home will never be bored. You can now visit the Houli Park shelter at any time a place simply by clicking on a link. As long as you scan the QR code or find the shelter website (http://walkinto.in/tour/ZyEVgkNs68bkgVVeJEsp8), you can see all of the lovely Houli Park shelter. Apart from detailed introductions to different building floors and areas, you can also discover numerous scenic spots in the immediate area, and make plans for fun excursions once the Covid restrictions have been eased.
Responding to the current Covid-19 outbreak, the Houli Park animal shelter branch has suspended visits and guide services since May 18, which has reduced the opportunities for exposure and interaction of the shelter's furry children waiting for homes. We look forward to the public taking advantage of online virtual tours of the shelter, and viewing the adoption announcements on the Health Inspection Office's website (https://www.animal.taichung.gov.tw/1521489/Lpsimplelist), and hope that adoption will not be slowed by Covid-19.
Those persons who wish to adopt should first select animals they may want to adopt online. Afterwards, you can visits to the shelter in person to complete adoption procedures during the hours of 10:00-12:00 and 1:30-4:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To maintain everyone's safety, during the pandemic period, you must comply with a real-name registration system and have your temperature measured, wear a face mask at all times, and wash and disinfect your hands after handling animals.
