I came here when I was helplessly caught in the jaws of a trap, but I am now full of love as I wait for a family.
The animal shelter receives many animals that have been hurt in animal traps each year. When an animal is caught in the trap, it panics and displays strong defensive behavior in an effort to protect itself. And because injuries caused by traps can make it difficult for animals to find food, they often become emaciated and starve to death. This orange and white cat arrived at the shelter with a wound from a trap that was deep enough to expose its bone, and also bore psychological scars that would be even slower to heal. Although it was terrified in the beginning, after receiving care from the animal shelter's ladies and veterinarians, including amputation of his injured leg, it gradually learned to charm its keepers and express its love with contented purring. The cat also learned to walk on three legs, and made a courageous effort to accept its new life. This three-legged animal is not a cripple, but rather an angel and a treasure.
We are not only a transit station for dogs and cats on their way to adoption, but also a place of refuge for their souls, and we hope to transform these lost and wandering children into treasured members of warm households. We welcome you to take a look at all of these charming furry children, waiting dumbly for your hug. Let's work together to "support adoption and oppose abandonment"—YES, WE CAN!
