Taichung City's 2023 Application of Minimally Invasive Surgery to Animal Sterilization training sets a new animal welfare milestone-1

Taichung City Government joined forces with Legend Pet and Taichung City Veterinary Medical Association to cooperatively offer the in-service training class "Application of Minimally Invasive Surgery to Animal Sterilization" to veterinarians. With the completion of the third training session, 9 outstanding veterinarians have received training in minimally invasive surgical techniques.

By bringing minimally invasive surgery into the domain of pet medicine, this joint effort will have a profound impact by both enhancing standards of pet medicine and improving animal welfare. The unique advantages of minimally invasive surgery include tiny wounds, minimal blood loss, and rapid recovery; it can not only reduce surgical risk, but also help furry kids quickly regain their vitality.

Legend Pet also provides free dog spay and neuter service at the city's animal shelters. It is not only fulfilling its social responsibilities, but also helping reduce the proliferation of stray animals, and further effectively reducing animal reproductive system problems. By training veterinarians with minimally invasive surgery skills, the city is promoting the application of this progressive technology to the field of pet medicine, and boosting the professional level of veterinary medicine.
