Health Inspection Office in cooperation with 2025 Taichung Citizens' Picnic Day hosted the "Dear Me PET You 3.0 Fur Babies Showtime" event that made a lively debut at 921 Earthquake Memorial Park in Taiping District, attracting many adorable daddies and mommies to bring their fur babies to join in this grand event. The event was filled with laughter and a warm atmosphere.

The most eye-catching event of the morning, the "Creative Styling Contest for Fur Babies," kicked off amidst enthusiastic applause! The participating dogs and their owners, meticulously dressed in various styles of costumes, confidently stepped onto the stage. Their adorable antics elicited laughter from the audience, who eagerly captured the memorable moments with their mobile phones. To reward the fur babies' energetic performance, the competition featured fun awards such as the "Cutest Dancer Award," "Dog in the Limelight Award," "Most Praised Dog Award," "Stylish Dog Award," and "Gaze with Eager Expectation Award," allowing each fur baby to shine on stage, showcasing their unique charm and having the chance to win an award and applause. The afternoon's "Pet Painting - Fur Babies Sketching" activity transformed the atmosphere into a warm and relaxed one. On the sun-drenched grass, attendees carefully sketched their fur babies' every expression and gesture, each stroke reflecting their deep affection and companionship for their fur babies.

In addition, the Health Inspection Office set up animal picture book coloring and badge making booths, allowing parents and children to unleash their creativity together. Besides learning about animal protection knowledge and responsibility of raising animals through hands-on activities, these booths also enhanced parent-child bonding. The fur baby health check booth, supported by the Taichung City Veterinary Medical Association, offered free health checks and medical consultations to help pet owners understand their fur babies' health and share correct care concepts, receiving a warm response from the public.

This Taichung Citizens' Picnic Day has come to a successful close. The laughter, emotions, and surprises of today will become unforgettable memories for many families. This year's event, like previous years, was limited to dogs that have already completed pet registration. It serves as a reminder to pet owners that pet registration is not only a legal responsibility but also the beginning of their fur babies officially becoming a member of the family. The Health Inspection Office hopes that through an entertaining and educational approach, citizens will pay more attention to the health and well-being of their fur babies and remind pet owners of the importance of "companionship and responsibility." It is hoped that this love can extend from the grass to every family, allowing fur babies and their owners to share a happy and wonderful life.
