The "CTBC Brothers Pet Day" made a lively debut on September 20, drawing a large crowd to Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium. Not only were there enthusiastic fans, but also many families with their fur babies. The Taichung City Animal Protection and Health Inspection Office was invited to participate in the grand event, setting up an information booth on September 20 and 21. They prepared ingenious mini-games that transformed the seemingly dry and boring knowledge about pet microchips and registration under the Animal Protection Act into a fun and interactive game that requires hands-on activities. As children happily completed the tasks with the microchip scanners, laughter and exclamations filled the air, attracting onlookers in the surrounding area who stopped to learn more about animal protection and subtly instilling the concept of pet ownership responsibility in everyone's minds.

The event was bustling with people, with curious crowds constantly surrounding the booths. Staff from the Health Inspection Office enthusiastically explained the importance of microchipping in pets and the information displayed on pet registration certificates. Microchipping is not simply an implantation procedure; it must be integrated with the subsequent online registration system to form a comprehensive protection network. These microchips play a crucial role in helping lost fur babies find their way home.  Fur babies are important family members we need to protect. The Health Inspection Office actively promotes animal protection, owner education, and respect for life in a relaxed and engaging way, moving beyond dogmatic advocacy to instill these concepts in the public. We thank CTBC Brothers for providing this special opportunity and hope that this positive experience of collaboration will raise awareness of animal protection issues. In the future, the Health Inspection Office will continue to use more diverse and accessible methods to convey the concept of treating animals kindly, hoping that all citizens will join hands and work together to create a safer and happier living environment for our fur babies.
