In order to strengthen rabies and awareness and ensure that rabies is not transmitted from wildlife to dogs and cats, the Animal Protection and Health Inspection Office will hold free roving dog and cat rabies vaccination and pet microchipping sessions during November & December 2024.

Taichung City's 2024 spay and neuter program for dogs and cats in isolated areas has now formally gotten underway.
